We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team within the CLIENT in Philadelphia. The team is engaged in transitioning the acquisition of CLIENT into the CLIENT platform.

Key responsibilities include:

. Working with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct analysis on in-scope systems and processes with inter-relationships between Delaware Investments and their previous parent company

. Building an understanding of the CLIENT and CLIENT application and infrastructure environments in their current state as well as planned future state.

. Understanding how the business uses these applications and the suitability of the current platform and proposed future platform in supporting the business. This will include leading and participating in working sessions, documenting meeting minutes as well as current and future state application information gathered.

. Based on analysis conducted, identifying and documenting application components to be transitioned and candidate approaches for transition

. Defining and drafting application documentation to support solution delivery within the scope defined for the project. Deliverables will focus on business requirements, solution design, and testing.

. Identifying and raising risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, etc. to support solution delivery within the scope defined.

. Helping to define mitigations, resolutions, implementation, and other actions to remove obstacles to quality and supportable solution delivery.

. Identifying and documenting technical, business, testing and training requirements to insure quality and on time solution delivery. Serve as the key resource to drive these activities to completion in the time defined.

. Testing and validating affected functionality

. Facilitating business acceptance of completed transition solution

We are seeking an individual who has a proven track record in the following:

. Using best practice business and technical analysis principles -

a. Process Analysis and Definition using structured approach such as Use Cases, Diagrams (swim lane, data flow, activity, etc.), Business Rules

b. Interviewing Business Users and Technical Subject Matter Experts: Extract the process workflow, business benefit, risks/issues, and technical interdependencies from system users and/or IT experts.

c. Documenting Processes and Functionality: Ability to write clearly and concisely while expressing an objective view.

d. Issue/Risk Identification & Clarification: Ability to define an issue and its impact as well as identify effective resolution approaches.

e. Sponsorship / Stakeholder Identification: Ability to seek out the key users for an application.

f. Prioritization - Ability to prioritize pieces of work based on business benefit, risk, and other priorities.

g. Exit Criteria and Acceptance - Ability to clearly define exit criteria and user acceptance test cases.

. Has good time management skills - Enjoys working under pressure to provide timely and accurate analysis of systems

. Is a motivated individual - always striving to improve their skill set (without supervision) and keep informed of best practices in the industry.

. Has a diplomatic style with the ability to influence and direct where necessary.

. Has a technical background such as experience using and deploying database technologies, programming or technical architecture

Essential to the role are:

. Capability to do detailed technical analysis

. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

. Excellent problem solving abilities

. Sound technical understanding of how systems work - with the ability to perform basic SQL

Preference - experience working in, and a high degree of knowledge of the Investment Management industry.

Looking for 2 Technical specialist will be responsible for the design, development and system integration for the various Credit Data Ownership (CDO) programs under Credit Risk Interface (CRI). The candidate would be working closely with the requirements team, business users to understand Business Requirements and design, develop and test the solution. The candidate would be working closely with the offshore team providing the technical guidance, design and will be responsible for the timely implementation of the requirements. He/ She will be involved in the requirements analysis phase of the project. The candidate would be responsible for interacting with multiple project teams during the project implementation. The candidate will be required to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and will need to contribute hands-on.
· Strong experience in J2EE technologies in a web development environment (XML, XSL, Web Services, JMS, Spring Framework, SOA Architecture)

· Experience in developing Rich Internet Application (RIA) using AJAX or Flex

· Strong Object Oriented Development experience with end-to-end application design and development

· Oracle database development experience including, but not limited to, creating stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning.

· Strong experience in designing, documenting enterprise applications by producing Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams etc.

· Familiarity of Staffware, ALBPM or other Business Process Management (BPM) tools a plus

· Basic working knowledge of Unix operating systems including, but not limited to, basic shell scripting

· Good documentation & presentation skill desired

Experience with load testing and performance monitoring tools a plus.
· A basic understanding of Finance/Risk Management and Corporate Credit Approval process.

· Lead a team of developers working on the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of application components. Position would require both leadership and hands-on development work working closely with the developers and the project manager.

· Analyzes functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Works with other senior technical members/architects to achieve the same.

· Resolves the most critical application and technical problems. Sets example as a leader and mentors other members

· Analyzes performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components. Suggest means of improvement

· Works collaboratively with team members distributed across multiple locations on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts

· Document designs, test plans, etc. as needed to consistently deliver high quality solutions

Interacts with clients to understand, analyze the requirements and suggest solution for the same.
· A Bachelor's degree in computer science

· 7 years or more of industry experience in related technologies

· 5 years or more of experience designing and implementing Oracle tables , statements, triggers and stored procedures

· Solid ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience with source code management, SDLC life cycle management, client management

· Familiarity and working experience with all the components of a multi-tier web based architecture

· Experience working in an on-shore/off-shore delivery model desired

· Excellent Communication skill - both written and verbal

CLEINT has a need for an ecommerce website with cart functionality, and the ability to retrieve data from iSeries AS400 system. The website should also have the ability for customers to search and retrieve previous invoices and credits, print invoices and credits, create and retrieve stock orders, retrieve customer pricing based on customer account parameters incorporating the existing pricing matrix tables in the productions system, and communicate orders to order entry personnel.

The resulting system must be scalable and have a basic back-end so that non-technical persons have the ability to maintain and manipulate the ordering process, customer accounts (web-side) and feature sets for customer accounts.

Job Requirements

The individual selected for this position should possess the following skills.
