KEY EXPERIENCE:
Senior FAME Data Storage Specialist Position Description: Design strategies for enterprise market data storage and effective retrieval systems and standards for operations, programming. Understand the existing market data storage and expand/integrate with new systems, new market data sources with existing FAME warehouse structure and refine the system performance and functionality. Train the existing developers to use the FAME’s APIs to load and extract the data into FAME effectively. Tasks to be performed by this consultant: · Experience in FAME product, FAME database design, FAME API usage · Experience in Relational database design, · Identify, evaluate and recommend hardware or software technologies to achieve desired database performance · Plan and install upgrades of FAME database management system software to enhance database performance · Demonstrate FAME database technical functionality, such as performance, security and reliability · Develop and document database architectures · Understanding the Financial Market data requirements and implement Market data feeds using FAME database · Provide technical support to junior staff or clients · Test changes to database applications or systems · Document and communicate database schemas, using accepted notations
